First of all, Gasgorf would like to thank you all for the tremendous support and interest you've showed for our first game, Dark Haven: The Arena. We do appreciate all the thoughtful comments and suggestions that have been submitted to us via email and our message board. Rest assured that we have personally reviewed and attempted to respond to every one of you notes, remarks, and observations, and have compiled a working list of the many ideas we will integrate into our upcoming games. Thanks again.
Now with that out of the way, what’s next? Well, please let this message serve as a notice to all who are interested, that Gasgorf software is hard at work on new pilot games as we speak (or type as the case may be). Currently, two projects are under works, the second of which, I hope some will be pleased to hear, is Dark Haven II: The Eyes Of Kings. Each of these games will feature much improved versions of our Dark Haven engine, as well as new in-depth stories, and user interfaces. It is difficult to say exactly which ‘improvements’ will make it into our final releases. Be confident, however, that both engines will support 2-bit gray-scale pictures which should make for huge improvements in our main display (some critics disparaged Dark Haven without even playing it due to its said lack of quality graphics – what can we say, we never claimed to be great artists!). Regardless, more detailed information will be posted as we move forward with the design and implementation phases. As always, please feel free to mail us any questions, comments, and suggestions, as our games have and will always center on the people who play them.
